Your Questions Answered:
What do I wear?
You’ll be doing a lot of learning and networking, so business casual is a must. The average temperature in Las Vegas this time of year fluctuates between 45 and 65 degrees, so plan accordingly.
Where do I drop off my present?
Make sure to pack your unwrapped toy for the DSEF Pack a Present program, benefiting the Las Vegas Boys and Girls Club. Then bring it with you to DSA’s registration desk, located in the Mandarin Ballroom Foyer. If you’d like to make a monetary donation, please make your check payable to the Las Vegas Boys and Girls Club.
How far is the hotel from the airport?
The Mandarin is located in the new City Center complex on the Vegas strip. It’s approximately 4 miles from the airport. A taxi ride should cost around $20. If you are arriving on the morning of Sunday, Dec. 5, please note the city is hosting the Rock-n-Roll Marathon. Road closures that may result in delays will be in effect from 5:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
Do I need to select a track for the workshop sessions?
No, for the most part you will be able to attend the workshop sessions you select as they occur. However, if you haven’t selected the meeting and incentive track already, but you are planning to attend these sessions on Monday, you’ll need to provide advance notice. Please e-mail DSA’s Allene David so that she can make sure you are included. These sessions will occur at the ARIA Resort & Casino also located in the City Center complex.
Will there be Internet access?
Yes, you can visit the Cyber Café to get connected, using one of the provided computer terminals, or connect your own laptop to the provided hardwire.
