Back by popular demand, the Direct Selling Association is once again presenting its Tax Seminar, designed to provide direct selling attorneys and tax professionals with the critical information needed stay up-to-date on ever-changing tax regulations and the many ways small changes in the law can affect your operations.
The conference will be held July 9-10, 2013, at the Crystal City Marriott at Reagan National Airport. The hotel has metro access via either the Crystal City Station or the National Airport Station, and is located near many of D.C.’s museums, restaurants, monuments, the Iwo Jima Memorial and Arlington Cemetery.
The regulatory environment is as active as ever, with a constant focus on taxation as a method of earning money for the federal government. These actions have a specific impact on the direct sales channel, from implications for independent contractor status and the Affordable Care Act to international expansion and state sales taxes. This seminar will go into great detail on these important subjects and more, with special insights provided by outside experts that will keep you in the loop on current actions and changes you can anticipate in the future.
We’ll look forward to seeing you in July in our nation’s capital.
